This month we were apart of a Styled Shoot at the Heitman House in Downtown Fort Myers. If you haven’t seen this venue, this historic home is where old Florida charm meets the industrial river front with beautiful views. The organizer of this stylized session, Melanie of Belle Ame Beauty, said she wanted to bring us back to our Floridian roots while highlighting its vintage glam.
The blues and pinks, as well as the greenery in the florals only added to the natural beauty of the Heitman House.
Here is just a small preview of this Hollywood Glam meets old Florida charm!
Champaign & Grit
So as far as simply amazing things go, Jamie from Champaign & Grit has our hearts…forever. When I first saw her hand dyed, custom-fitted Bridal veils I almost fainted. These pieces of ultra-amazing detail will be sure to set any Bride apart on her walk down the isle. Make sure to check out her Etsy shop for custom pieces for the most romantic of wedding days. This shoppe will leave your hearts melting.

Flourish Calligraphy
Melissa, owner of Flourish Calligraphy is my go-to girl for all things pretty. I adore her simplicity in creating amazing pieces but also in her uniqueness when we call upon her for many of our wedding inspired designs. Make sure you take a peek at her amazing designs on Facebook and Instagram.
River District Florals
Every pretty little piece of greenery you see throughout this stylized shoot is provided by the amazing Alese at River District. We have gotten the pleasure of working with her on so, so many weddings and her creativity and bridal design NEVER disappoint. Alese is not only incredible talents with these petals, she also donates all of her time and florals to help make these shoots picture-perfect. We can’t thank her enough and look forward to many more weddings together over the years.
Jade Strings
If you’ve been around Ft. Myers at all for the last year then you’ve heard of Jade Strings. This all female-owned mini orchestra has made a name for themselves, playing everything from the classical Canon in D to an acoustical version of Bruno Mars (Yes, you can rock out to pop music on a violin). These amazing 20-something ladies are the definition of the Millennial takeover and are an inspiration to all young woman out there that you can in-fact:
Be Killin-it & Classy.
The Heitman House
This venue needs very little introduction as it historical repertoire always leaves us thinking about the days of long ago; when Homes were built for generations of families, the river ports provided its only commerce and life was in a simpler time. Today, the House still provides so many with the most beautiful memories. Your wedding here couldn’t be more romantic, from the grand home entrance into your wedding to the starry-lit night scape as you dance the evening away. The bridge walkway is one-of-a kind here in Ft. Myers allowing its guests the unique and dreamy wedding photos.
