Swooning on St. Patty’s Day! Transforming the Traditional
A St. Patty’s Day Wedding
Kiss Me, I’m The Bride, in this beautifully curated St. Patty’s Day Wedding! When Brittany & Sean shared with us their Big Day Date of March 17 th, 2018, we could not wait to see how their southern roots would put the perfect flair on this holiday. So often, Brides and Grooms can feel restricted by certain traditions. To toss the bouquet or not? To cut the cake or not? Brittany & Sean showed us that transforming a tradition can create the most perfectly personalized special day. Sometimes, it’s good to see green. Check out their big day celebrating a St. Patty’s Day Wedding.
From Bride Brittany:
“Sean and I were blessed to be set up by our mutual friend Dr. Lauren Dupre. Lauren and Sean both attended the University of Florida for their undergraduate degrees and Dental School (Go Gators!). I am a South Carolina girl and attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. It seemed fate that Lauren would marry my sorority sister’s big brother hence my introduction to Sean. Naturally, for our wedding I was seeking a venue with antebellum southern charm whilst allowing convenience for our vastly dispersed families. Having the privilege of getting engaged at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina, we wanted to find a venue to
complement our amazing proposal. The Burroughs Home and Gardens in Fort Myers, Florida, encompassed the grace of southern hospitality with a convenient location for our guests.”***************************

“From the moment you walk up the sidewalk lined with old Florida palm trees and lay eyes on the deep verandah you are transported into a bygone era of grace, elegance and sophistication…Upon making your way through the home the view truly captivates you upon seeing the waves lap along the sea wall under the oaks adorned with Spanish moss. The chairs were appointed with palm fans to ease the warm spring air as we said our vows at sunset. The verandah and grounds made for a splendid cocktail hour prior to meandering into the Corinthian columned gazebo for the reception. It is safe to say Scarlett O’Hara would find refuge at this magnificent home.”
Add to Brittany’s beautiful description of the much adored The Burroughs Home a stunning bride and groom head over heels in newlywed bliss, and you a super swoon-worthy scene!
“Following our wedding on Saint Patrick’s Day, Sean and I honeymooned in Ireland for a week touring the countryside of our ancestors. We will be relocating to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the coming months as I begin Optometry School at Nova Southeastern University. We have been incredibly blessed to have begun a life together
filled with God’s grace, family and friends!”
We were honored to share this extra special Saint Patrick’s with the new Mr. & Mrs. Coyle and a team of phenomenal vendors. Brittany and Sean pulled the perfect amount of tradition into the day-offering homemade Irish themed desserts and a wedding cake adorned with a four-leaf clover. Their Irish roots and sweet southern love story
molded together to create a flawless day. Talk about a pot of gold!
Cheers to you two, Mr. and Mrs. Coyle!
