Sanibel Island Engagement Session

Summer Beach Vibes

This summer has us feeling all of the beach vibes. So we thought we should share this sweet little love story and Sanibel Island Lighthouse Engagement session. In our last post we talked about how to prepare for a beach portrait session, as it takes a little bit of thought when planning to be in the sand and the water.

Sanibel Island Engagement Session

From Friend to Fiancé

We asked our Bride-to-be how they met:

It all started at everyone’s favorite grocery store, Publix. We both worked there while attending college at UCF. We started off as work friends, hanging out while getting carts, blocking isles, and bagging everyone’s groceries. We eventually started hanging out outside of work and began to realize we had more in common than we thought. After a few months, Vinny finally asked me out on our official first date to Bahama Breeze (because we both love seafood and all things tropical related).

4  years later, we decided on forever and tying the knot  by the sea at Sanibel Harbour Marriot Resort. We have always loved the water, and boating and this location is perfect at capturing all that we love for our special day.

(And we can’t wait to be apart of it!)

Sanibel Island Lighthouse

Sanibel Island Lighthouse Beach

The Sanibel Island Lighthouse Website gives visitors some additional information about the beautiful island:

This Sanibel Island Lighthouse is one of the best areas to visit on Sanibel.  Located on the East end of the island, it encompasses the entire tip of the island.  With one of the larger parking lots for beach goers, restroom facilities, great shelling, the fishing pier and more, it is a very popular spot.

Make sure to arrive early as even with so many parking spots, it can fill up.  from catching fish, finding some great shells, seeing a dolphin or two, observing ospreys and pelicans feeding or just general sunning on the beach this is the spot.  For information on all of Sanibel not just the lighthouse see SanibelFlorida.com
