Our First Guest Podcast
Last month we appeared as guests on the She’s Crafted To Thrive Podcast– with our gracious host, Nikita Williams. Leading up to the podcast we were very admittedly filled with nervousness and excitement. Like call-each-other the-night before as a practice run! If you could picture a team in a locker room before a big game pumping each other up; that was us.
If you really know us, we really aim for perfection. We knew that sharing our story and how we came to be business partners would make us vulnerable and that was something we were ok with. Nikita gave us a chance to talk candidly about what it is like to be both business partners, run a small business, and be mom’s and wives. We’re balancing it all. And while somedays the scale is enormously weighted on one side over the other, we have each other’s back.
Why a Podcast is a Big Deal
Since the podcast launched on Friday (yesterday) we have both listened to it more than once. We’re both reliving in the fact that we did something else that scared us a little, but was also something that we were excited to try out. Having a public space to share our trials and blessings means something to us. I may be even sitting over here wondering where we can speak next. 🙂
What we’ve learned and what we try to live by, is just do it. Do something that scares you a little. As long as you have someone that’s willing to support you in your weaknesses and empower you in your strengths, it is all going to be ok. That is how you truly
