While many couples opt for a private moment or first look with a quiet walk or a surprise moment under the trees, Alek and Lindsey took a different route, opting for a private dinner in the bridal suite. It was intimate, sweet, and full of laughs. Between bites of their favorite food, they read a custom “wedding newspaper” featuring their love story, adding a playful and personal touch.

Tucked away in Fort Myers, Grace River Island Resort is the definition of a tropical dream. With its banyan trees draped in Spanish moss, serene waterfront views, and secluded island vibes, it was the perfect setting for Alek and Lindsey’s barefoot ceremony.
The bride was glowing in a sleek, modern gown, and the groom kept it casually sharp in a button-down and khakis—no shoes, no stress. The laid-back vibe of the venue matched their personalities to a tee.
We also had our videography team on board and collaborated with day-of coordination (something we offer too!) to ensure everything went off without a hitch. The result? A relaxed, joy-filled day that flowed as naturally as the Florida breeze.
