The Beginning
Our journey began with Kaylee and Alex back in the spring of 2022. We had the honor and privilege to be their photographers, videographers, and wedding planners for their wedding the following year. We worked closely with our favorite team of vendors and had the best time planning, capturing, and filming their Big Day!
Engagement Session
When we first met our happy couple, we were shooting their engagement session at the Sanibel Lighthouse in Florida. During their session, we chatted with them regarding the overwhelming feeling that comes with planning a destination wedding. They quickly decided to add us as their wedding planners in addition to our photography and videography services. Booking all three of our services makes for a seamless transition from engagement photos to all things weddings for the happiest day of our couples’ lives.
Venue Change
Sanibel Lighthouse offers more than just the typical views for any photography session. The trees surrounding the lighthouse create the perfect spaces for the sun to filter through while the shoreline captures the perfect setup for the classic beach engagement photos.
When the planning began, and hurricane Ian struck, Kaylee and Alex were forced to change their original wedding venue but as luck would have it, Miromar Lakes Beach and Golf Club was available to steal their breath away. Many of our brides who were affected by Hurricane Ian shared that the experience of being caught in a hurricane while planning a wedding was extremely overwhelming and hard, it ultimately was a blessing in disguise and their wedding day proved just that!
The Replanning Process
Changing a wedding venue requires a lot of time and patience. The replanning process took a little over a year to complete. Hiring a wedding planner who is familiar with the tips, tricks, and the area of your destination wedding, is always a bonus. Not to mention, wedding planners such as ourselves, can share our top recommended wedding vendors for your special day as well.

The Wedding Day Glam
Kaylee chose Lavana Beauty for hair styling services and AQ Artistry for makeup. These teams of professionals did an incredible job ensuring the bridal party was looking their best for the wedding day!
Floral and Decor
Floral Designs by Sony made the gorgeous floral arrangements for the ceremony and reception. She created such an elegant and sophisticated look using whites and creams to truly capture the looks from Kaylee and Alex’s wedding dreams.
Plithos Event Rentals and Styling and Something Borrowed Something Bloomed went above and beyond for their decor needs. Dolphin Transportation was another amazing vendor who helped transport the party! Curate Entertainment provided the DJ which was the key to their loved ones dancing the night away.
Sweet Touches
Ellie Bee Bakery created the most beautiful (and delicious!) wedding cake with just the right touches of floral decorations. Alpha Lit Letters provided the bold lit lettering of Kalyee and Alex’s initials with a matching heart that sat in the corner by their head table giving it something extra everyone chatted about!
The love between Kaylee and Alex is truly one for fairytales. We had the most magical experience working closely with them to make their wedding day dreams come true. We wish them nothing but material bliss forever and always.
