We asked Tiffany why they choose a Destination Engagement Session on Sanibel Island and also to tell us a little more about the beautiful love they share! From the Bride:
I’ve known Mike my whole life. His parents lived next to my dad’s parents and our dads became friends. In fact my parents lived in the Peret house up to their own wedding day, ‘house sitting’ while Mike’s parents moved to CA for a year (where Mike was born). We’ve had many family camping trips and birthday parties growing up. The Peret boys lived with my family every other weekend one summer. And I always had the biggest crush on Mike. I followed him around & loved his energy even when we were little. But naturally he was just into fun and games (I actually have a scar on my right knee from him tripping me… somehow I still liked him). My childhood friend wrote a princess fairytale story of us getting married one day, complete with foam letters and everything. (I found it in storage recently!) Throughout high school, we went to FL together with our brothers every April vacation. Mike and I never dated. We grew up (college, jobs) and didn’t reconnect until his 25th birthday. After which we started dating and now we are getting married!
One of the most unique parts about Tiffany and Mike’s Engagement session was that their best friends joined them not only on their awesome vacation but at their session as well. It was our first ever official double engagement session. Yay! Both couples had a ton of fun and also got to take a few photos all together for fun. We’ll be posting Katie’s engagement session soon so you can check out her and Evan’s session as well!
Loving Sanibel Island, us too! Check out so more of our recent engagement sessions out there at the beautiful Lighthouse.
